Clay Tiles

Description

I have been playing with Substance Designer lately and have had quite a lot of fun with it making materials. Here is my first little project in the program: some clay tiles.

It seems simple at first, but Substance Designer makes some amazing materials. These are game engine ready, and can be edited as you please. In Unreal and Unity there are settings to adjust various parts of the material. I am posting the materials here so you can use them in your own projects!

How to use:

Download: sta.sh/0uqu9g0vjlz

Unzip it, there should be two .sbsar files. One will simply say 'ClayTiles' and one will say 'Tiles_Spec_Gloss'.

For Unity/Unreal:

Download the Substance Importer from the asset store. Its free.
Import the 'ClayTiles' into your game project.
Under the properties, you can adjust the texture size (default is 1024x1024) as well as edit some of the tile attributes like cracks or smoothness. You can also adjust the color of the tiles and grout.
Drag the material onto your game geometry and that's it!

For Daz Studio:

Download the Substance Player: www.allegorithmic.com/products…
Open the 'Tiles_Spec_Gloss' in the player.
Here you can make the adjustments you need to the tiles, then export the various maps you'll need.
Drag/drop the maps into the corresponding material channels in Daz's surface editor.

The material is free, but if you wanna donate you can buy the premium content on this page to help me out.
