Watching the Destruction Spread by Rakceyen Watching the Destruction Spread by Rakceyen
A native to the land watches the earth slowly get destroyed through expansion.

Since Im new at both photoshop and DAZ, I will consider this a work in progress. When I figure out how, I will add smoke and other environmental effects to make this better.

I was surprised how long this took: 2 hours of posing and lighting, 12 minute render, and an hour in photoshop.

Rendered and posed in DAZ Studio
Edited in Photoshop elements 8.0

Really impressed with this as one of your first pieces. The lighting seems a little bit off, and if the cityscape is made with the props I think it is, it looks slightly fake I guess... almost like you're expecting Godzilla to appear on the horizon :3

Nonetheless I like the theme and the composition, I think you'll go far with such a promising start. Please let me know if you need any help with Daz :)

Thanks!

True, the city looks a bit fake. I put a blur on the entire city to try to make it look far away (the camera DOF didnt do enough). I hope to get a better city sometime for better renders.

Pretty good for one of your first renders!!! Considering posing is a bitch (always my gripe anyway) I think some city fog applied right would look great!

Thank! Posing isn't too bad if its looking the way I want it. Hands can be tedious though...

buildings and the wolf. It took a while to find a good tree and then fit him in the branches without a branch sticking through him.

Animation is a trick. It's hard to make it look good because all parts of the human body are moving, so if one part stops, the whole thing looks robotic. And with the way DAZ animation is set up, each individual joint works separate on the time line. Hard to explain but annoying to experience
